Farmgirl is built on relationships — with our growers, our partners, and the people who touch our flowers every single day. As we’ve grown, those relationships have only become more important. This role exists because we care deeply about quality and about teaching the why behind the way we do things.
This is a floral role first.
You’ll be working side-by-side with floral teams in the field and on production floors, teaching bouquet builds, substitutions, and standards — and then translating that real, hands-on experience into clear, practical training materials. Some days that means early mornings in cold rooms with flowers in your hands. Other days it means focused time at a computer, documenting exactly how something should be built so it can be replicated beautifully and consistently.
We’re looking for a floral designer who genuinely enjoys teaching — someone who knows flowers deeply, can learn our design aesthetic completely, communicates clearly, and brings care, maturity, and good judgment into every interaction. If you love flowers, care about people, and take pride in helping others do great work, you’ll fit right in here.

This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up role for a working floral designer who also enjoys training.
You’ll work directly with domestic and international floral partners to ensure Farmgirl products are built the Farmgirl way — consistently, efficiently, and beautifully. You’ll train teams on bouquet builds, substitutions, quality standards, and seasonal updates, and you’ll also create clear, visual training materials to support that work.
Roughly half of this role is hands-on floral and in-person training, and half is computer-based work — writing guides, communicating via electronic channels with our partners, creating decks, organizing photos, and documenting processes.
Train floral partners (in person and remotely) on Farmgirl bouquet builds, substitutions, and quality standards
Travel to domestic and international farms and partner facilities (expect real agricultural environments: cold rooms, dusty farms, early mornings, and long days)
Create clear, detailed step‑out guides, training decks, and visual documentation (English required; Spanish strongly preferred)
Communicate daily with partners to troubleshoot builds and substitutions in real time via WhatsApp, Slack, phone, and email
Support new product launches by ensuring partners are trained, confident, and aligned
Conduct quality checks and clearly communicate feedback internally and externally
Serve as a bridge between product, operations, and our farm and bouquet partners
Uphold Farmgirl quality standards at all times (Quality is Queen is one of our core values)
Show up scrappy, solutions‑oriented, and company‑first
You’ll have direct access to our partners — including owners, leaders, and production teams. That access comes with real responsibility.
We’re looking for someone who brings professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and discernment to every interaction. Someone who knows how to hold high standards with kindness, communicate clearly without creating friction, and represent Farmgirl thoughtfully in all settings.
This is not an HR or compliance training role. It’s a relationship‑driven, floral‑focused role that requires trust, respect, and good judgment.
One day you’re at a partner farm, bundled up in a cold room, teaching bouquet builds, answering questions, and helping teams understand why a specific flower goes where it does.
Another day you’re at your computer, organizing photos, writing clear build instructions, updating training decks, and making sure someone halfway across the world can build the bouquet exactly as intended — without guessing.
Some days are a mix of both. Many days involve real‑time communication across time zones. Some days are long. Some days are cold. Most days are incredibly satisfying.
Deep, hands‑on floral design experience (this is essential)
Enjoys teaching, training, and explaining floral work to others
Spanish fluency is a major plus, as much of our training happens directly with Spanish-speaking teams. For the right person, we’re open to someone actively learning and comfortable using translation tools in the meantime.
Comfortable traveling up to ~35% of the time
Comfortable working in cold, agricultural environments
Strong computer skills; comfortable spending ~50% of time on a computer
Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, WhatsApp, Slack (Mac experience preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Professional maturity, strong judgment, and discretion
Calm under pressure; solutions‑oriented and flexible
Company‑first mindset with strong follow‑through and accountability
Are primarily an HR, corporate, or medical trainer without floral experience
Don’t enjoy or have experience with hands‑on floral work
Prefer perfect conditions or predictable days
Avoid documentation, writing, or detailed follow‑through
Are uncomfortable traveling or working across time zones
Struggle with timely, direct communication or holding standards
We’re scrappy. We care deeply. We believe quality matters — a lot. We do things the right way, even when it’s the hard way.
If you love flowers, people, teaching, and meaningful work — cold rooms, spreadsheets, and all — you’ll love it here!
Please send us your resume along with a short note about why this role speaks to you. We care less about polished cover letters and more about whether this work genuinely excites you.
Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage are also available for employees. Employees can enroll in our Flexible Spending Accounts program and the company’s 401(k) plan, which includes a company match. Fringe benefits are available for this role. Lastly, this role is subject to our paid time off/sick policy and will receive ten (10) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
