Growth Marketer

Gig Harbor, WA, United States of America

Job Title: Growth Marketer
Location: On-site in Gig Harbor, WA
Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Reports to: Director of Marketing
Compensation: $80,000 annually + medical/dental, matching 401(k), and paid vacation

About the Role

Farmgirl Flowers is on the hunt for a hands-on, data-loving, results-driven Growth Marketer to run our paid media program end-to-end. This isn’t a management role—it’s a doing role. You’ll be the one building, launching, optimizing, analyzing, and iterating on campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and beyond. If you love being deep in the platforms and making real-time performance decisions, you’ll fit right in.

You’ll be based at our HQ in Gig Harbor, WA, working shoulder-to-shoulder with our small but mighty marketing team to drive traffic, boost conversions, and help turn first-time shoppers into loyal customers. You’ll test, tweak, and analyze performance daily across paid ads, email, SMS, and the website, and use what you learn to make smart, strategic decisions that move the needle.

We're a fast-paced, high-expectation, direct-to-consumer floral e-comm brand, and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that kind of environment. You’ll need to be a confident digital ads pro, comfortable juggling platforms and dashboards, and excited to experiment and iterate—not just repeat what worked last time and hope for the best.

A super important note: This is an on-site role with required presence during our busiest seasons—Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. These are all-hands-on-deck moments at Farmgirl, and we need people who are ready to roll up their sleeves and dive in alongside the rest of the team (including leadership). Blackout periods for PTO apply around these peak floral holidays, so if you're looking for a role with quiet seasons and flexibility around winter holidays—this likely isn't it. If you’re excited to be part of something fast, fun, and full of growth potential—we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own Paid Media (Really Own It): You’ll lead the charge on creating, launching, and optimizing paid media campaigns across Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, and more. We’re looking for someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets it done—not someone who just manages outsourced agencies or delegates to others.
  • Own Lifecycle + Site Analytics, Too: You’ll own performance and customer experience across email, SMS, and the website. From click-through rates to bounce rates to onsite conversion, you’ll track what’s working (and what’s not) and work with the team to turn insights into better campaigns and a smoother customer journey.
  • Chase Performance (Not Just Reports): You’ll keep a close eye on performance metrics—daily, weekly, monthly—and make smart, data-informed moves to improve ROAS, lower CPA, and grow revenue. If you like to set it and forget it, this probably isn’t your gig.
  • Dig Into the Data: Tools like Google Analytics, Ads Manager, and Heap are second nature to you. You won’t just present numbers—you’ll translate them into actionable insights and strategic next steps.
  • Pitch In on Creative: You’ll work with our design and content teams to help shape high-performing, brand-right ads. That might mean brainstorming new concepts, giving thoughtful feedback, or bringing ideas from other brands and putting a Farmgirl spin on them.
  • Own the Budget: You’ll manage spend across platforms to make sure every ad dollar is working hard—and identify when it’s time to scale up or switch gears.
  • Test, Learn, Repeat: You’ll run A/B tests on everything from messaging to visuals to targeting, and use what you learn to keep making things better.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: You’ll keep us in the loop on what’s changing in the world of paid media—new features, algorithm shifts, platform trends—and bring smart, timely ideas to the table.
  • Roll Up Your Sleeves During Peak Seasons: Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and a few other big moments are all-hands-on-deck at Farmgirl. Time off is limited during these blackout periods, and this role requires you to be on-site and all-in when it counts most.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proven Experience & Positive Energy: You’ve got 3+ years of hands-on experience running digital ad campaigns for e-commerce—and a track record of making them perform. You show up with ideas, optimism, and the kind of energy that makes the team (and the results) better.
  • Tech-Savvy & Always Learning: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Heap—you know your way around all the major platforms and tools. You’re also the person who’s always exploring what’s new and figuring out how to use it to your advantage.
  • Social Media Superpowers: You get the nuances of every platform—from what performs on TikTok to how to make Meta’s algo work in your favor. You’re excited to experiment and love staying ahead of trends (and helping us get there, too).
  • Data-Driven & Curious: You don’t just report the numbers—you want to know what they mean, and how to use them to do things better next time. You ask smart questions, dig deep, and bring thoughtful, actionable ideas to the table.
  • Hands-On & Accountable: You like to own your work. Whether it’s launching a new campaign or testing a fresh idea, you’re not afraid to get in the weeds—and you take pride in delivering great results.
  • Creative Problem-Solver: You bring a can-do attitude to everything you do. You’re scrappy, resourceful, and genuinely enjoy the challenge of figuring things out (especially when the answer isn’t obvious).
  • Team Player with Great Vibes: You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and show up with a good attitude—even on the tough days. You know that kindness and positivity go a long way (and make the work more fun, too).
  • Excited to Be On-Site & All-In During Peak: You’re looking for an in-person role and are energized by the idea of jumping in during our biggest seasons (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving). You understand the importance of our blackout dates—and you’re ready to be here when it counts.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Your work will make a real difference—both for our customers and for the future of our company.
  • We’re a small, scrappy team where every person (and every role) truly matters. You won’t be a cog in a wheel here—you’ll be a key part of making things happen.
  • We’ve got big goals—and we make sure to celebrate the wins, big and small, along the way.
  • We care—a lot. About quality, creativity, community, and doing things the right way (even when it’s the harder way).
  • No two days are the same. If you thrive in fast-paced, figure-it-out environments, you’ll fit right in.
  • And of course—flowers. But more importantly, the chance to bring joy to hundreds of thousands of people’s lives each year through something as simple (and powerful) as a bouquet.
